메카트로닉스 실험실은 1993년 설립되었으며, 그동안 국책사업을 거치는 동안 실험실 장비 확충 및 내실을 다져왔다. 6년이상 축적된 장비와 기술을 바탕으로 향후 BK21 사업을 거쳐 명실상부하게 메카트로닉스계의 선두주자가 될수 있도록 열심히 노력하는 실험실이다. 그간 30여편 이상의 국내외 논문을 발표하였으며, 항상 최선을 다하는 실험실로 졸업생은 국내 기업, 연구소 및 벤처기업등에 진출한다. 메카트로닉스 실험실의 멤버가 되면, 석사는 국내외포함 논문1편, 박사는 국내논문 2편, 외국논문 1편 총 3편수록을 목표로한다.
