ABSTRACT	The cooperative research work on the development of HOPE(H-II rocket orbiting plane)has been conducted by the National Aerospace Laboratory(NAL)and the National Space Development Agency(NASDA)since 1987.As a part of this research work,wind tunnel tests were conducted to obtain the aerodynamic characteristics of several candidate shapes of the orbiter.All data obtained in the tests were recorded as“the HOPE Wind Tunnel Data
