ABSTRACT |
The gradient-based method was evaluated as to its accuracy and space resolution in motion detection.The velocity was determined as the maximum of the optical flow components in the direction of the brightness gradient from the video image sequences in a miniature world.The standard deviations of measured velocity were 0.4 picture elements (p.e.) at a speed of 1.8p.e.,and 0.8p.e.at a speed of 7.2p.e.wit |
