ABSTRACT	cability of plastic fibers for a self-luminescence display for use in flight simulators,we prepared a trial display.We made two displays of the same size,both of which were 900mm in height and 1200mm in length.The fiber’s diamter is 0.75mm,and the total number of fibers is 34,400 per dispay.We tested the validities of a fiber display and reached the following conclusions. (1)brightness is sufficient. (2) angle of view is limited and too narrow for practical use. (3)picture quality is inferior
