ABSTRACT |
This paper presents experimental results of the effects of cavity bleed and its configuration on the supersonic internal flow field and the aerodynamic characteristics.The experiments were conducted in the supersonic heat transfer test facility of NAL using the partial modl to simulate the supersonic internal compression passage of the mixed compression air-intake.The pressure recovery characteristics of five cavity configurations was obtainede bleed mass flow rates.Therefore,the optimum bleed mass flow rates for the maximum pressure recovery depended on the cavity configuration. |
