ABSTRACT |
This talk reviews where in the perspective of the NASA Administrator NASA is at the 50th anniversary of its founding. The talk reviews some of the goals that as the administrator were accomplished. It also calls on NASA to continue to develop the mechanisms to expand into further space exploration. It also reviews the requirements to develop space, safely, orderly and efficiently. And it calls for NASA to go beyond the International Space Station to establishing a permanent base on the moon, to Mars missions, voyages to near-Earth asteroids, and to astronomical instruments at the Lagrange points for scientific research. He also examines the roles of government and private enterprise in space exploration. |
