    요약 Embedded devices are all around us, in many common items that we use. From the time you woke up this morning, you’ve probably interacted with at least five different systems which contain a microprocessor without realizing, - cellular phone, car automotive system, simply car itself, microwave, etc.
    Microprocessor is well suited to function as a dedicated controller for various systems as well as its basic role of the central processing unit (CPU) in a General Purpose Computer. A microprocessor used in a specific system or application has been called a microcontroller, whose enhanced descendant is aliased to embedded system in computer science field.
    The embedded control field is simply defining the need for a microcontroller in a specific system and developing the hardware and software necessary for proper use and functioning of the microcontroller. The complexity of embedded control system will increase as time goes on, more and more functionality should be integrated to control hardware and software. Sooner or later, simple firmware, which is current SW solution for embedded controller, lacks capability for system services and functioning. As a consequence, control system software will require OS-like complex SW layer to manage all the services and control functionality, as most of other real time embedded system, such as nuclear power-plant control, automotive applications, aviation system, etc.
    The purpose of this seminar is to introduce the development of an embedded system. The SW and HW concept of real time control system will be presented
