This work demonstrates our scientific effort to realize artificial quantum systems thatbe studied for fundamental physical studies and quantum information processing as abasic application. Electron spin has been playing an improtant role in quantum mechanical systems and recently utilizing spins of electronic carriers have attracted a lot of interest for quantum computing. In terms of basic physics, the Kondo effect is a very important spin correlation phenomenon and managing its relavent energy scales in single electron transistors can be a great benefit of studing different conditions in a same system, which can be an ideal system for verifying upcoming theories of strong correlation. Technically the application can be a quantum information processing, ie, quantum computing. Based on our advanced miniature device fabrication capability using state-of-the-art electron beam lithography nanopatterning, we could realize a coupled spin system for th! e first time. Experimental observation of its spin coherent states are presented in this work.
